How listing works

Who gets listed

A community is listed when its owner says so

Being public and being discoverable are two separate choices. A private community never appears in this directory, and a public one that is not discoverable is reachable by link but not listed.

This is a directory, not the whole instance

The directory covers communities on this instance only. If discovery is switched off, it is off for everyone, including this page.
